alternate root pool

Hi,
We're migrating servers from UFS to ZFS.
Currently they use an "alternate boot" mechanism, which copies every week their OS filesystems from the boot disk (encapsulated in VxVM)
to another local disk (no VxVM, just filesystems on slices), from which one can boot from, in case of issue on the usual boot disk.

Our goal is so to adapt this mechanism so that it works with ZFS too, thanks to an alternate root pool.
Initially the root pool is mirrored on two local disks.
The scenario we plan to implement is as follows (where cXtXdXs0 is the disk that will make up the alternate root pool):

Howdy, Stranger!
