Contracts Status Change by Range Program Details

I'm raising this post to understand as what is the elgibility criteria for the contracts which are processed by Contracts Status Change by Range Concurrent Program.

We have this program scheduled twice a week in our system but there are some contracts sublines which are being terminated while these are not supposed to.

In order to understand the processing by this program if you guys can help me with some understanding document then it will be a great help.
