Cascading Sales Order Header Changes to lines in 11.5.10

in EBS Customizations (MOSC) Question
Hi All,
We have a requirement to cascade the sales order header changes to lines for fields such as Salesrep, End customer etc. Since the solution is not available in 11.5.10 and business doesn't want to use mass change functionality. Is it advisable to create trigger and call the api to update these fields.

Can anyone suggest possible repercussions or risks?
