Can you create a Promotional Goods modifier using a Case UOM?

The order line is qty 1 but the UOM is case. The Pricing Quanity is 30 because there are 30 units to a case. The item is priced by UOM Ea. When you buy 1, get 1 free, we want the modifer to recognize there are 30 eaches/case and provide 30 free items. Is this possible using the UOM on the Buy one form?  Will the conversion from  case to ea(Each)  be recognized?
