Publishing to DM from a BP workflow - DM Permission Requirements

Based on my observations, when a Business Process (BP) workflow auto publishes to Document Manager (DM), the person at that step has to have add permissions on the folder in DM.  If they don't, Unifier files the document in the unpublished documents.   We have restricted the permissions of people on our DM so this can have an impact.  Am I interrupting what is happening correctly?  Is there a way to make it so the BP has admin rights so that it can always publish regardless of the rights of the people in the workflow?
