Need Help with Error APP-OFA 48395 in Fixed Assets 12.1.3

Hi, when attempting to backdate a retirement I am getting the following error message:

Error APP-OFA 48395

Full Retirement cannot be overlapped to prior transactions. Please change the retirement date.

Error: Function FA_RETIREMENT_PUB.do_validation returned failure.

Please note that I have reviewed the notes on this error, but I have not been able to find the solution for it. Is there a limitation on backdating retirements in terms of converted data? For example, if we converted in MAY-13, are there any rules that prevent the retirement to be backdated to APR-13?
