WIP Class Accounting for Rental Equipment
Hi all,
I have the next problem regarding the accounting of work orders.
We have specific work orders that have the next related costs:
1. Material - Materials costs are incurred during the job
2. Labor - Owned crew work in the job
3. Contractors Job - Contract resources work in the job
4. Rental Equipment - Some big equipment is contracted.
We need different accounting for all so we have 4 different accounts.
In the WIP class we setup the material and resource with material and labor accounts.
For contractors we setup the outside processing account as we define a outside processing resource for that.
