Questions on GG Replication

1) Is there a simple way in Goldengate Database level replication as that of DBMS_STREAMS_ADM.ADD_GLOBAL_RULES in streams ?
Or What parameters that I have to use in extract parameter file for doing a database level golden gate replication ?

2) Any Best practices to be followed while doing database level golden gate replication ?
3) Can I prefer Downstream Integrated Capture while doing Database level replication ?

4) I know that Downstream Integrated Capture avoids load on source database, Is there any other advantage in using Downstream Integrated capture compared to normal extract ?

5) In 11203 database , Does RMAN on downstream site be used to delete shipped archive logs of source site ? Is RMAN on Downstream site aware of shipped archives needed by extract ?
