The information about BI Publisher Templete Builder 11.1.1.7 and .Net Framework

Hi
The customer installed the BI Publisher Templete Builder 11.1.1.7 which includes the
[.Net Framework Client profile] and [Windows Installer].

And he wants to know the details about the [.Net Framework] when use with client PC.

1.
 Is it only .Net Framework 4.0 Client Profile adequately ?
2.
 Is it necessary to install .Net Framework 2.0～（or 3.0/3.5）?
3.
 Is it need to apply some Windows's patches ?
 
Does anybody know the information about it? Are there some documents can refer to?
