Shipping out faulty items received against a Repair Order
Our client business is moving more towards exchange model. The process is such that the faulty unit received from the customer is swapped with a refurbished item received from the OEM. These faulty units are then sent out to the OEMs physically but they continue to be in the system(a non asset subinventory, these items are zero dollar value). The OEM may recycle the faulty device and the unit may find its way back through another Repair Order. At this point, since the item is already in system ; the RMA line can't be processed.
