Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi

Can you explain purpose of "create cost" check box while defining service activities? attched screen shot.

Intuitively, I could understand but how does it related to COGS for example WIP mode issuing spares to a repair job.
