Week ending date for Miscellaneous Transaction

Hi,

I just tested a miscellaneous transaction with pre-approved expenditure batch and with transaction import that has expenditure item date = 10-mar-2013, and expenditure week ending date = 10-may-2013, and I did not receive any errors for the week ending date validation.

Is this working as designed?
