adadmin update current view snapshot taking long time

I am running adadmin 'update current view snapshot' on a cloned 11i instance where I have just upgraded the database from 10g to 11g.
It's been running for 4.5 hours so far.

I have just run the same on another cloned 11i instance still running a 10g database and it took a few minutes.

Is anyone aware of any issues that might be affecting this.
