How to change a Component's Component Group

I need to move a component to a new component group.  But I'm unable to do so by simply trying to pick the new Component Group.  Here's exactly what I'm trying to do:
1. I currently have a component named "MQSeries Server Receiver" which is assigned to my "Enterprise Application Integration" component group.

2. This component group (Enterprise Application Integration) is currently assigned to only 1 of my 2 application servers.

3. I want to MOVE this component to a new group and assign that group to my second server, so I:

3.a. Created a new component group named "EAI2"

3.b. By default this new group is Active, but unassigned to either server
