Using JDeveloper with Stateless Web Services

We are using JDeveloper to configure a Oracle SOA composite to perform a stateless Web Service query.  Has anyone done this before and if so, how do you configure it to pass through the authentication?
Also we are looking to retrieve an Activity Attachment by the Activity Attachment Row ID, what would the SOAP message look like to perform this query?

Any help or examples that can be provided would be greatly appreciated!
