zonestat: Error: Zones monitoring service "svc:/system/zones-monitoring:default" not enabled or resp

Hi,
I am receiving the above error message every i use the zonestat command as follows,

root@N1SVMSVR01:~# zonestat -z N1SOSTKT01 -p 10
zonestat: Error: Zones monitoring service "svc:/system/zones-monitoring:default" not enabled or responding.
root@N1SVMSVR01:~#

I have check the zones-monitoring service and it is online. Not sure what could be the cause of it not responding.
We are using Solaris 11 and would appreciate if anyone could advice me. thanks
