user profile corruption

We have recently upgraded user PCs from XP to WIndows 7 with IE 9.

We are finding issue with RPAS where strange things happen (hot links going to the wrong location) whicha re remedied by rebuilding the user profile. This works for a while and then it happens again.Has any one else experienced this. and have any idea what causes the issue?
