how to deactivate post JEs function for an specific range of dates

Hello Dear all,

Does anyone knows if it's possible to deactivate post JEs function for a range of dates, just suppose we have a cutoff date to post JEs during closing, then whil this selected range of dates no more posting is allowed for this period, but the period is still open...

thanks in advance for any help on this
