Clarification on ACR and QFs

Hi All,
Recently we went through patch update from 8.0.0.5 to 8.0.0.13 in our project. I have few questions regarding the ACRs and QFs.
1. The process followed is (overall),
-- download the patch files (5.2GB) from MOS for 8.0.0.13
-- unzip the patch and create the image.
-- install the patch from the image.
Are the above steps correct??? Did we miss something???
2. What are all the things that come in a Fix Pack???
So far I know ACR, QFs, FRs come in the fix pack. Are there anything else???
I could understand what is ACR and QF. Can someone explain what is FR???
