R12 Asset Book & Depreciation

Hi,

My client implemented Fixed Assets in 11i a few years back. After some time they stopped using Fixed Assets. They use Web ADI to upload asset details to GL Now they have upgraded to R12. They are planning to use FA for Deprecation. There are multiple Asset Books(Corporate & Tax). The Last Run Date for Depreciation was 31-Dec-2010. I want to know whether i can use the exisitng Asset Book or should i create a new Asset Book and start afresh from the current period.
