Related to Team Rollups calculation performance issue

Hi,

We extensively use out of box Team rollup feature for calculating commission.

As part of Fy14 fiscal year planning business could possibly ending up in creating multiple Teams and Groups approx. 8000 Teams and Groups could be created in CRM.


In last year FY13, for instance in APJ Enterprise Org:
There were 5 regions under which there were 14 countries and there are approx. 16 territories or individual teams under each country.
So, effectively there are approx. 224 territories/teams in APJ which were active during each month YTD calculation.
Upon running out of box calculation the Rollup phase was not taking much time but we observed Population phase was taking longer time to complete.
