The 'Replace' didn't work properly

Hi,

Our user encountered an issue with loading file from FDM to HFM.

 User first loaded the preliminary file, then she loaded the final file with the 'Replace' option. the prelim file had an account with a balance, and the final file does not have thsi account, but HFM still keeps the balance. there are so many lines that make up this account, that user doesn't know how to correct it.

how should we fix this issue? why the 'Replace' didn't work? there is one option in the load method called replace by security, can someone tell me how this works?
