value xxxx for the flexfield segment company does not exist in the value set xx_gl_company error

Hi

We are getting value xxxx for the flexfield segment company does not exist in the value set xx_gl_company error in the search and select window when editing charge account in iProcurement. When we go into the value set the value exists. This an intermittent issue and it seems to resolve itself. Just trying to understand what may be causing it.  We are on 12.1.2

Anyone else experienced this issue?
