LCM Implementation after Oracle Purchasing is LIVE

Hi

We have just implemented LCM on our instance. However Oracle Purchasing is LIVE since 2008. I have tested a scenario on TEST instance by creating a shipment for a PO which was created and approved before implementation of LCM. Shipment cannot be created for such a case.

Is this an expected result or should I do some other step?
