why do I see dual language error messages in alert.log file?

 why do I see dual language error messages in alert.log file? I'd like to get rid-off local error-messages, only english messages should be seen. Same behaviour exist also while using sqlplus; by using errornous syntax in commands I can see following message:
 
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00933: SQL-komento ei p??ttynyt oikein
