Salvage Value Functionality

Hi,

What is the Oracle functionality  around Salvage Value? When this value will be used by the system?

Is it the case that when a % Salvage Value is defined for the Asset the system will take the Salvage Value to calculate depreciation if Salvage value is < Cost?
