CTI integration with out middleware

Hi Friends,

In my client location, we would like to integrate Siebel with Aspect(Telephony System) with out any middleware to acomplish CTI Functionality.

1. Can anyone suggest me the problems based on your experience in doing so.

2.  How to invoke a web-service on clicking a button in Siebel provided OOTB Toolbar(without any middleware driver)

3. Is there any problem with Session Management.
