Support of PKCS#7 format certificates

Hi Team,

customer is reporting that their Vendor can only support  and deliver certificate file in PKCS #7 formats.  

 

They don’t have provision to generate the Client certificate file in PKSC #12 formats.

As per  Document Id  473779.1  Client - Must be in PKCS #12 formats and be signed by a valid Certificate Authority that is also installed on the Siebel Server.  

On Unix , the client certificate must be installed into the Personal certificate store.

Is the PKCS#7 formats will supports for HTTP Transport request over SSL Communication on Solaris Operation system?

If not can we suggest any other workaround ?
