Delete Item Information pending from 2 days

Hi,
I have create a delete group and inserted 10000 items which were created wrong by user and deleted the group which started request

'Delete Item Information'

but this request is running from 48 hours and on deletion group window/result/status is showing = Pending.

Any idea why it is taking so long time, I need to delete these items so nobody should use them.
