Printer Defaults for UBEs called by other UBEs

I have a UBE that calls other UBEs.  After the job runs, when I look in Submited Job Search, I see the printer default that I defined for the main UBE job in the Printer Selection.

This main UBE calls two other UBEs, one gets the printer default that the main UBE has and the other does  not.

Neither of the called UBEs have printer defaults defined. 

This is for JDE E1, Release 9.1, Tools 9.1.2.3, Windows Server 2008 R2.

My question, why don't both called UBEs get the printer defaults?  What are the rules for doing this for the Sys Admin?  Is there a development component to getting all the UBEs to get the Printer Default.
