Can base ReSA POSU format include transaction timestamps to support SIM stock count time stamp sales processing? 

No, the POSU file does not include the time stamp.  However, there is a web service that the retailer can implement to send the sales directly from the point of sale system with the time stamp.  This allows the retailer to use time stamp processing for unit, problem line and ad hoc stock counts.  If RMS is implemented, the unit and amount stock count will still require the retailer to use Daily Sales Processing.
