Configuration Changes Post Installation

Hi All,

Can someone in the group tell me how is the below scenario handled in other projects involving OM/Configurator/Service modules:

 Status: Star item created > Manufactured > Shipped and Installed at customer site

Situation: Customer calls-in and request for some configuration changes. For e.g. a battery of 6v needs to be upgraded to battery of 12v.

 

We have a requirement to keep a track of such changes made to the configuration after the configured item is shipped and installed at the customer site.
