srvctl modify instance error

Hello,

Getting following error:

qa-db1 ->./srvctl modify instance -d detedb -i detedb1 -s +ASM1
null
  [null
  [PRKS-1027 : Configuration for ASM instance "+ASM1" does not exist in cluster registry.]]

Please suggest!!
