Regarding SIF and DBF after Patch Update

Hi,
We performed patch update from 8.0.0.5 to 8.0.0.13. Server and our Local is updated to 8.0.0.13. But the local DBF was extracted when we had 8.0.0.5. We haven't performed any DBF Extract in 8.0.0.13.
Now I am able to do Check In/Check Out.
- Whether there will be any impact because I am using DBF extracted in 8.0.0.5, Check Out an object and doing Check In???
- SIFs and DBF will have version???? I mean, can I export a SIF from 8.0.0.5 tools and import it in to 8.0.0.13 tools???
