Oracle FTP Sites Set to Retire on July 19, 2013

Oracle recently implemented a new file transfer service that uses the Secure File Transport Protocol (SFTP). This new service is available for customers using FTP Software that will support SFTP (e.g., FileZilla), with host name sftp.oracle.com and port 2021. Now that the new SFTP server is available, the following Oracle FTP sites will be retired on July 19, 2013.

·         ftp.oracle.com

·         ftps.oracle.com

The sftp.oracle.com site also requires the use of an Oracle Single Sign-on account (SSO) in order to access the SFTP service.
