OVMAPI_6000E Internal Error: Connection refused -- OVM Manager worked one day and then next day thi

I've run into this generic once already.  The first time the issue was simple:  OVS schema in the OVM database had an expired password.  I unlocked that account and set it to never expire again.  OVM Manager has worked fine since doing that a few months ago.  Last week I tried to login to OVM Manager and this error displayed on the console:
Unexpected error during login (com.oracle.ovm.mgr.api.exception.FailedOperationException: OVMAPI_6000E Internal Error: Connection refused Connection refused [Tue Jul 16 14:27:17 EDT 2013]), please consult logs for details.

I've searched the logs and haven't found anything that indicates what's wrong.  Nothing was changed from one day to the next.  For some reason the OVM Manager console (web page) just stopped working.  I have a SR opened with Oracle support, but after several days they are of little help.  Does anyone have a tip on how to correct this issue?

Howdy, Stranger!
