Is it possible to update an existing Responsibility ?

Is it possible to update an existing Responsibility with a new Menu that contains a new sub-menu for FastPath.

We have a requirement to remove certain buttons and menus from an existing HR responsibility.

I have performed the following:

1.       Created a new taskflow

2.       Attached the new taskflow to a new Function

3.       Attached the new Function to a new Menu,  minus the menus we want removed

4.       Attached the new Menu to the existing responsibility

When I access the existing responsibility with the above changes, the responsibility does not have access to all the Menu and Submenu (Fastpath) items listed on the Menu form.
