Webpage Performance Error in IE8

Hi, there.I was wondering why my customer always has this kind of error in IE saying "Message from webpage - System Maintenance Message - To improve system performance,close all open applications before continuing your work "  when they are in Work with order Awaiting Appproval - PR Non-stock page..
pls advice how to solve the problem...
