need to archive the table F40UI74(Price Adjustment History Workfile table) due to its huge size in P

 The table Price Adjustment History Workfile table (F40UI74) keeps on growing in huge size in  PD to consume very huge volume of storage. Don't have any idea about the impact, if the table is advised to be archived. I am analyzing the sources how the table is populated. i could See P4074-check price availability, a lot of NERs and reports are using this table(Xref says).

I need to find the sources which populated this table?

And need to do the analysis of the feasibility of archiving old data 

As its a work file, shouldn't it delete the obsolete records? (no idea about pricing !)
