Which is the difference between Primary Quantity and Transaction Quantity for a PO Receipt transacti

Hi,

I created a PO Receipt transaction in Inventory for a Quantity = 27 and when I go to Inventory Material Transactions window and check the transaction the followins appears:

- Transaction Quantity: 27

- Primary Quantity: 54

How the Primary is calculated?
