 Hi,

I need you to find out if WLS 8.1 and 10.3.2 support establishing SSL trust using a 2048 bit Verisign root certificate authority (CA) certificate in addition to the 1024 bit Verisign CA certificates.  Imagine the following scenario:

Client:  WLS 8.x, 9.x or 10.3.2

Server:  Doesn’t matter, but assume that access to the server is over SSL and the server’s identity SSL certificate is signed by both a Verisign 2048 bit root CA certificate AND a 1024 bit Verisign CA certificate.

If the client attempts to connect over SSL to that server and the client is using the Certicom SSL implementation, will the connection succeed, i.e. does the Certicom implementation support 1024 and 2048 bit CA certificates when establishing SSL trust?

Howdy, Stranger!
