Document Capture and Search in Siebel

 Hi Experts,
I have a customer who is contemplating to purchase the WCC connector for Siebel. In order to present the pro's and con's, I wish to know what are Siebel's mechanisms when it comes to:

1. Search - I know that this exists. Is it an Out Of the Box Siebel tool, what are the configurations needed in order to work with it?

2. Document Capture. WebCenter Content allows the user to scan a document and check it in easily to its' servers directly. The WCC connector for Siebel uses this advantage as well.
I am wondering if Siebel has such a document capture mechanism.
