SLA - Setting a constant for Account Derivation Rule

I have created an Account Derivation Rule to set account number to a constant. I have populated the Transaction and Accounting field and for output type selected 'Segment'.  I made the value type constant and set the value to some constant number.

 Hoever, when I go to Journal Line Definition, the segment I selected in ADR does not show up in Segment LOV.  When I select a segment that is similar to the segment I selected when setting up ADR, my ADR does not show up in the Rule Name LOV.  When setting up ADR, you have the option of output type 'flexfield segment or value set'.  When setting up Journal Line Definition, in the ADr section, you are only allowed to select 'Segment'.
