Executing RMAN job on windows from OEM on Linux
Hi,
on a customer site we installed OEM12c on a Linux environment. The landscape consists of Linux, Windows and SUN servers.
All rman backups are written to fileshares from Windows-, Linux and Sun- hosted databases. These fileshares are presented from a seperate windows host (\\servername\rman1, \\servername\rman2, \\servername\rman3)
If I execute a Rman job (fromOEM) against a database on a Linux serve this works perfect.
However, If I try the same against a database on a windows server the job fails with error "ERROR: Invalid username and/or password". I'm absolutely sure the username and password are correct, because we use the same credentials for all rman backups.
