WMS enabled org pick release

Hi

We are in 11i and WMS implemented. i heared WMS enabled orgs all order line status should go to release to warehouse after pick release. it should not auto pick confirm even pick release rule  auto pick confirm set to  Yes while pick release. i our case, the order line automatically picked and staged if we enable auto pick confirm in pick release SRS form. Why? is it bug? Any one can through some light on this issue would be appriciated.
