How to Check On Hand Quantity during 1step issue

In a scenario where there are multiple sub inventories (Trucks), when I need a spare part for a work order, how do i find, in which sub inventory, the on-hand quantity exists for this part?The one step issue screen does not seem to show sub inventories and on hand quantity in the Maintenance super user responsibility.  There is only a field, where I can select a Sub inventory. This is not much helpful, as I don't know in which the sub inventory, on hand quantity exists, so I can't select the exact one.
