tables re-org

HI,

I performed re-org for few tables and after that I rebuilded the indexes.

Method of re-org :table move command with in same tablespace.

After re-orging the tables,below is my question.

question 1:Is it really required to gather the stats for those tables which I performed re-org.If yes why,if not why?

question 2:If i perform the shrnik of tables,:Is it really required to gather the stats for those tables which I performed shrink.If yes why,if not why?

version of the database is 11.2.0.3
