Data pump export job

I have  Oracle database release 11.2.0.3.0  installed on Solaris T4-1 server. When DBA performs  200 GB data export job using data pump utility,

The total time takes to finish the export job:

With PARALLEL parameter ( PARALLEL = 4 ) enable :  35.34 minutes

With parallelism disabled : 35.01 minutesI am trying to figure out why there is no performance improvement in export job with parallelism enabled.I would appreciate any help in this regard.
