Deleting inventory Items

We want to delete items from our old warehouses so they can be closed.  This can be done by deleting one item at a time but we have numerous items that need deleted for each warehouse, is there a way to mass delete items from a warehouse?  We are using JDE World V9.2.1.  One way we thought might work is by using an SQL statement to delete all items from the F41021 but aren't sure if this would cause integrity issues?  Does anyone have any ideas how we can do this with deleting one item at a time?
