Can I update asset flag via backend table

Hi,

We have items set as inventory item flag enabled, costing enabled flag enabled but inventory assets flag disabled. We want to enable its inventory assets flag but currently it has on-hand. Can I just update the flag via backend table inv.mtl_system_items_b?
